I'm not a professional, so I don't know what a good quality brush would be. But I've seen plenty of cheap junk and these brushes have nice bristles, they take up the dye and distribute it nicely. They have a nice weight, not too heavy or too light and I like the pointy pick end, it makes it easy to separate and pick up hair.

I love these applicator brushes! They're soft and awesome for applying color. I seriously like that there are different sizes too. Not to mention, the color of them are sooo pretty and they are made with good quality.

I love these brushes. They are a super value and work excellent. I am a color educator and they are my new favorite brush! Great for color melting and balayage especially!!!!
