Very light plastic. You’ll have to screw it down (which it has predrilled holes for) because it slides around super easily on smooth surfaces. Otherwise it’s perfect. Easy to clean. I recommend buying a rubber work mat and cutting it to fit down inside tray. If you’re a busy barber you’ll find your cords won’t tangle as easily.

I received the item but not the anti-slip mat & anti-slip sucker.

This is a good product. We put adehesive Velcro on the bottom and onto the workstation so it won’t get pulled off. The suction cups it comes with are dumb. Also the cushion on the bottom of the tray is just shelf liner. Good thing about that is it’s easy to replace once it’s worn or too dirty.
