The bristles are soft on scalp yet has some tension so its not super flimsy.

Mostly needed for small brushes to do bleach touchups on short hair. Hard to do without overlapping with a large brush.

These are great. The hair is very soft and flexible. I really like the small optioned brushes to get into those tiny places. Perfect for hair coloring.
